By accessing or using the AlertHamster platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
AlertHamster is an incident management and on-call alerting platform that:
To use AlertHamster, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Each account belongs to a tenant (organization). The account owner or admin is responsible for managing users, permissions, and configurations within their tenant. AlertHamster maintains strict data isolation between tenants.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account. AlertHamster is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account credentials.
AlertHamster offers the following plans:
Professional plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Annual billing receives a discount. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.
Professional plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the Service.
You may upgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you will be billed the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
You agree not to:
You retain all ownership rights to data you submit to AlertHamster ("Your Data"). This includes incident data, team configurations, schedules, escalation policies, and any other content you create within the Service.
By using the Service, you grant AlertHamster a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete Your Data or close your account.
You may export Your Data at any time through the AlertHamster API. Upon account termination, we will make Your Data available for export for 30 days before permanent deletion.
We process Your Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For Enterprise customers, we offer Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) to meet regulatory requirements.
AlertHamster integrates with third-party monitoring and notification services. When you configure integrations:
AlertHamster targets 99.9% uptime for Professional plans and 99.99% uptime for Enterprise plans (with SLA). Uptime excludes scheduled maintenance windows, which we will announce at least 48 hours in advance.
We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily limits Service availability. We will provide reasonable advance notice of scheduled maintenance.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if required by law. We will provide reasonable notice before termination, except in cases of serious violations or legal requirements.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections regarding data ownership, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AlertHamster is incorporated. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
